Saket Patel

Principal Landscape Architect

Saket holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the Boston Architectural College (BAC). He describes himself as a design amateur, sketching lover, and a photography enthusiast. Growing up with an avid horticulturist for a father, he has always been interested in plant species and planting drawings. Saket’s ability to draw, sketch, and photograph contribute to his sharp sense of, and appreciation for, architectural and landscape architectural forms and spaces. He is keen on evaluating the relationship of built and open spaces in urban and landscape settings, while applying those spatial forms to blur the boundaries between architecture and landscape. He was The Landscape Architecture Foundation University Olmsted Scholar from BAC in 2018. He was awarded The Sara E. Bourque, MLA ‘14 and David F. Jaquith, ‘69 Landscape Architecture Prize Academic year (AY) 2018-19 and The Master of Landscape Architecture Thesis Commendation AY 2018-19 from the BAC. He also received Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA) Fund 2019 and ASLA Student Honor Award (BSLA Chapter) in 2019. After his masters, before coming back to Ahmedabad, he gained professional experience for 2 years in Boston; where he worked on urban public parks, schools and high-end residential projects with the firm Terraink landscape architecture + planning.
